TOUR ESSENTIALS: Baro

Melbourne rapper, BARO has not wasted any time launching into "adulthood". The recently turned 18-year old has been keeping busy playing shows and crafting his 'official' debut release, 17/18.

Baring all with his lyrical creativity over a smoothed out, jazzed up lounge sountrack, the 9-track EP is an extremely impressive debut, making his forthcoming Australian tour all the more anticipating.

To appear at Byron Bay's Splendour In The Grass late July, right before headlining consecutive performances along the East Coast and Adelaide, we thought it was only appropriate that we grabbed Baro's must-have items for when he hits the road.

HEADPHONES

I can't not have headphones. GOOD headphones also. Like they cannot have any flaws or I'll be gloomy the whole trip. Not really. I’m just kidding. I just need my headphones.

CROCS

I gotta swag on these bitches a few times u feel me. I actually just found this at my friends house and it looks gross, what the fuck is that on the shoe? Oh well, it's comfort over style and rocking shows with these bad boys on stage is both comfort AND style.

SCISSORS

If you are Fets (the strange dude I tour with) you can't leave the crib without any of these. I definitely thank him for it cause I never think about it until we’re at the hotel, like “HOW WE GON’ CHOP THIS UP?” Then pulls out one of these utensils like “we good for life bro, scissors don't go blunt”.

A HALF SMOKED CIG

Have you ever been halfway through a cigarette before your flight then notice your flight leaves in 20 minutes and you still have to go through that beep line X-ray thing? Bro, I am not getting rid of a half smoked cigarette. Wow, this is disgusting, I am questioning myself bro?

NUTELLA

Who the fuck bought this fake ass Nutella to the pantry. Well, usually it's real Nutella and real quickly, when your hotel has a toaster its not for plugging into wall, filling the sink up with water, dropping the toaster in there and trying to become a superhero. It’s to make toast with.
