Coming into 2016 swinging with their own melodic style of synth-pop, is Perth local boy-girl duo GRRL PAL. Consisting of producer, Danny K and vocalist Jay Le Kat, the band have been making some serious waves and are showing a load of promise for the year ahead.
The year 2015 was a very busy one for GRRL PAL, kicking off the year with their single 'Dare' hitting 30,000 plays and then pumping out a new single each month for the remainder of 2015 including songs like 'Suggest' and 'Kwler than U'. They also managed to squeeze in a collaboration with Australian future beats duo Slumberjack on the absolutely banging single 'Enigma' which has 816,000 plays on SoundCloud alone.

The work of GRRL PAL combines catchy melodic synths that shift back and forth playfully with sweet ethereal vocals inspired by artists such as Grimes, MØ and Purity Ring, to create some truly ear pleasing music. All of their 2015 releases have been perfect for sultry summer evenings and have you grooving in your seat even in the summer heat. The rhythm of the synths and the tender vocals will inspire your inner teenager to stay out and party.
