Live Review: LO'99 and Sinden drop some heat '2nite'

6 April 2017 | 6:53 pm | Rosie Rae

Here at Purple Sneakers, we are definitely fond of the occasional heater, and we're not talking about the appliance. So, we we're pretty damn excited when we came across LO'99 and SINDEN's newest EP Burners. We couldn't think of a more appropriate title, because they're packing serious heat with this one. Sydney producer LO'99 certainly knows his way around a banger, and with the help of LA native Sinden, their lead single '2nite' is certain to ignite that infectious dance floor itch.

Aside from tearing it up in Sydney on the regular, LO'99 has been busy in the studio developing his acid infused tech sound. Sinden is also no stranger to touring; he's been playing on global stages playing alongside some of the biggest names in dance music, like BASEMENT JAXX and AC SLATER.

'2nite' is one of those tunes that seems deceptively simple, like most good dance bangers it's rhythmically charged and built around a thumping bassline. The acid injection and almost arcade like whirring electronica add a playful element to this slow burning acid track. The light and shade of this track is pure magic as each complex layer builds towards a subtle drop.
