Sydney DJ EBONY BOADU is a burgeoning talent fresh on the scene, but already making serious waves. A regular in the Sydney nightlife scene, she is quickly becoming known for her thumping hip-hop and RnB sets, whipping dancefloors into thumping frenzies all over the city. A graduate of FBi's Dance Class in 2016, her ambition and passion have kept her moving fast, adding to the rich tapestry that is the Sydney dance scene.
A vocal supporter of minorities and those who are disadvantaged, Boadu has worked on the SBS 2 program ISMZ, and is an outspoken advocate, using her voice as a powerful tool to create discussions and help those who need it.
It's safe to say we're massive fans, which is why we were so excited to get her on board for the party we're throwing in celebration of the CURVY Creative Women's Conference next week, 'Like A Girl'. Playing alongside FLEXMAMI, MATKA, CODA CONDUCT, MEZKO, NAP GIRLS and MISS BLANKS, Boadu is guaranteed to get you dancing hard. To get better acquainted with her, and to get you extra excited for 'Like A Girl', we got Ebony on guest mix duties this week for a very special mix. We named the event 'Like A Girl' to prove just what girls can do, and with Ebony's stellar rap mix featuring some of hip-hop's finest like Princess Nokia, MIA, Tink and the queen herself Beyoncé, she's showing off what it means to be 'Like A Girl' in all it's bouncing, booming glory.
