Output Festival boasts a prime location and equally prime lineup
The prayers of house, techno and disco lovers have been answered with a brand new addition to the Sydney festival scene. Put together by the UNDR Ctrl and Motorik, OUTPUT FESTIVAL is a loving celebration of dance music from Australia and the world. The festival promises to be a completely new boutique festival experience, with a finely curated lineup, engaging atmosphere and unique location.
Phase 1 of the lineup has already dropped, featuring some of the most trusted names in Australian dance music like MALL GRAB and CC: DISCO. FISHING and WILLARIS. K are also set to shake things up with their live sets and UK duo OPTIMO will be stopping in as a part of their world tour. More acts are yet to be announced however, with three stages set to be taken over by some of dance music’s finest.
For a debut shindig, they sure did manage to get a great spot for it, in Sydney Harbour National Park at Middle Head Fort. This secluded location is prime for exploring as well as having a brilliant view of the harbour. The stages will be placed throughout the fort, making use of the military bunkers, gun emplacements and tunnels. Of course, the concrete will be completely kitted out on the 25th of November with Output promising impressive lighting, Instagram ready art and the serenity of nature alongside the choice tunes.
Starting in the early afternoon the festival will kick on into the night, so you can enjoy the sunset over the city against a brilliant soundtrack. Capacity for Output Festival is limited, the tickets have just hit final release, so make sure you sort your tickets out ASAP. For what is bound to be a unique festival experience, you’d be a fool not to.
