Purple Sneakers Presents: The Harpoons East Coast single tour

This year has been an outstanding year for THE HARPOONS, who made their way back into our ears with ‘Do You Want My Love’ and never really left. Having performed stand out sets at this year’s BIGSOUND, as well as two huge single launches in Melbourne and Sydney, the electro-quartet followed up with ‘Reassurance’, taking themselves to the next level not just at home but across the world.

As we said on their new single, “With ‘Reassurance’, the group explore different territory, combining their neo-soul roots with a more club-heavy, UK garage sound. Complex, percussive rhythms and a hook destined to get feet moving combine build the essentials, while the two vocalists create a gorgeous harmony in the chorus. The production is tight and focused – aside from a few synths and extra effects, the track aims for a jittery and syncopated club sound, and it gets full marks.”

Now, they’re set to bring their new tunes across the country with a few shows lined up for early 2018, and we couldn’t be more hyped to be presenting what will be a very special run of shows. Hitting Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, the four-piece will be bringing ‘Reassurance’ and more to fans along the East Coast. Since the release of their debut album, Falling For You, back in 2014, the band have become synonymous with innovative and soulful pop music, and after signing with prestigious touring agencies Select Music and London-based Primary Talent, there’s clearly a whole lot more to come.
