Live Review: Work up a sweat with Eduardo Muchacho in his latest heater, 'F45 (Pump It)'

Sydney producer/DJ EDUARDO MUCHACHO brings the best of his record crate to life, blending 90s club energy and house grooves for and energetic floor filler

EDUARDO MUCHACHO is a Sydney producer and DJ with an ear for driving beats and nostalgic house vibes. His latest track 'F45 (Pump It)', released through hometown pals Of Leisure, is a pumping house heater and an ode to the sweaty sounds of 90's club that inspire him most.

From the start Muchacho sets out to get your feet moving and your heart rate high, building around choppy hats and a repeated vocal sample. A four to the floor beat keeps the track chugging along, hooking you in and guiding your body for you. Energetic piano chords and a peppy trumpet line borrow from the familiar sounds of old school house, but those dense synth stabs place 'F45' firmly on modern dance floors.

In the track's DIY music video, Muchacho and his pals skeez around Sydney kitted out in their fanciest tracksuits and sunglasses. He gets to sweating all around town, pulling out his best form doing push ups and jumping jacks as his mates watch on and give themselves whiplash snapping their gaze to camera on the beat. The pulses of pianos and synths make for some overly dramatic stares, highlights being Muchacho's slide stare, reclining stare and, of course, the stair stare.
