Live Review: Ahead of her biggest national tour yet, Godlands gives us a What So Not edit

16 April 2019 | 11:03 am | Caitlin Medcalf

Adelaide's top purveyor of all things bass related, GODLANDS, will be taking her apt ear for lower frequencies across the country and over the ditch next month for her biggest national tour yet. Armed with her soon-to-be-released 4 U ONLY EP, the tour's focus is on community solidarity and ensuring that every show will be an intimate and warming experience.

Fresh from being named one of Mixmag's ten most exciting names in bass music, she's given us a taste of what she's been working on to tide us over until the EP release and tour come around.

She's reworked one from What So Not and Dyro, an expansive title in itself. Where the original is both cinematic and dynamically expansive, Godlands turns up the bass, taking the intensity level all the way up to 10.

Known for her raucous, dynamic live sets, this is one that will sit right at home amongst her chaotic back catalogue. Her unpredictability as a producer is what keeps us coming back, and this bass odyssey she's crafted out of What So Not's 'Bottom End' will go down a treat on stages across the country next month.

Check out her headline tour dates below.
