From throwing parties to hosting radio shows and creating zines, LUEN has been holding her space as a prominent force in the Australian electronic music scene. As a diverse selector in the industry, Luen boasts a sense of creative maturity of the dance music scene that is reflected in her debut single 'Owl Tool'.

Using her platform for a range of artistic talents, Luen is not only a prolific DJ in the Australian scene but has also taken the opportunity to host a string of DJ workshops around the country, allowing female identifying, non-binary and trans women to delve deep into the art of curating music for different spaces. As well as hosting shows on FBi Radio and triple j, Luen has also created a 9-track compilation, Taxx Vol. 1, to accompany the Taxx 1 zine that was released last year with Canberra tastemaker Genie, which takes a wide approach to local and international house and techno.

'Owl Tool' highlights Luen's deep knowledge and understanding of electronic music as she manages to create her own unique field of diverse electronic sounds. It's experimental background showcases Luen's years of experience that glues existing knowledge and industry influence to formulate a style that is exciting in every way possible.
