Track And Field Returns

14 November 2011 | 4:14 pm | Staff Writer

Track And Field is back with a mammoth lineup, including Bleeding Knees Club, Deep Sea Arcade, Velociraptor and Gung Ho plus guest DJ sets.

Track And Field is back with a mammoth lineup for their long-awaited second party, brought to you by Amplifier and Mucho-Bravado. Brisbane's newest and coolest boutique music event will be held on Friday 25 November at The Arena in Fortitude Valley, and tickets are on sale now, so you'd better get in quick!

Those of you lucky enough to attend will be delighted by the punk-rock stylings of Bleeding Knees Club. They've become a regular on our playlists following their ever-popular track 'Teenage Girls'. Joining them on the stages, Sydney's psychedelic Deep Sea Arcade will be launching their new single 'Girls'. A common theme among these guys, it seems... Beefing up the live lineup will be a couple of locals, with Velociraptor testing the stage foundations with their 12-fold band, and fast indie favourites Gung Ho. Taking the night into the early morning, there will be DJ Sets by indie darlings Little Scout, party-starters Naysayer & Gilsun and local faves Unnecessary Knowledge DJs.

As demonstrated by the cute promo vid above, there are a number of preparations you need to make before the event... so you'd better get started by purchasing tickets HERE.
