Live Review: VIDEO: Fire! Santa Rosa, Fire! - Panther Shrine [Live]

20 December 2011 | 11:29 am | Staff Writer

Adelaide band Fire! Santa Rosa, Fire! have had a great 2011. Tonnes of great support tours across the country, and a great new single out!

2011 has been such a year for Fire! Santa Rosa, Fire!. Off the back of their debut album last year, they've been recording their next release dutifully, promising fans to show an evolution of sound. Proving true to their word, their new single (off the forthcoming album) 'Panther Shrine' is beautifully pieced together from dreamy synths, an addictive guitar riff and the smooth vocal stylings of Caitlin Duff.

It's a wonder they've had time to record anything, as these Adelaide indie kids have been touring almost non stop. They've been able to add support slots for Guineafowl, Kimbra, Stonefield and Eskimo Joe to their resume, and have boasted spots on the same festival bills as New York Dolls (The Boroughs). It's no wonder their popularity is booming.

If you thought 'Panther Shrine' was good in its fully mastered entirety, you HAVE to watch the completely stripped back acoustic version they did for Large Noises. Just perfection, trust us.

Vote for them for Triple J's Hottest 100, we are.
