The US's Holy Ship! Festival cruise wrapped up last week and looked like one of the most enjoyable electronic music festivals in history. I was jealously reading all the amazing facebook/twitter updates from home, wishing I was there and planning my trip for next year.

2,500 ticket holders were lucky enough to be taken on board a Bahamas-bound luxury cruise liner, ready to enjoy 3 days jam-packed with 5 different areas of music. Once they reached their destination they enjoyed a whole afternoon of partying on their own private island before again boarding the boat for a final night of mayhem.

Punters were treated to a delicious smorgasbord of acts including Fatboy Slim, A-Trak, Diplo/Major Lazer, Dillon Francis, Buraka Som SistemaGesaffelstein, Dave Nada, Egyptrixx, the Club Cheval gang and heaps more. Of course there was the usual bunch of predictable stinkers you get at any dance festival like Steve Aoki and Skrillex (also a DJ set from Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee was a confusing and unpleasant looking addition to the lineup) but they would have been easily ignorable in the face of so much undeniable talent.

Check out this video of A-Trak and DJ Craze offering up DJ lessons to attendees. Needless to say I'm saving my pennies for 2013...
