SBTRKT enjoys anonymity. Why else would he spend the beginnings of his career hiding behind a tribal mask? Though his identity has now been shared, he still indulges in keeping many parts of his life anonymous. Each to their own; it definitely detracts absolutely nothing from the music.

Speaking of the music, not many artists could brag about having a dozen EPs released in just 3 years. SBTRKT can. His debut self-titled album which came out this year, managed to polarise the music community with a diverse mix of exaltation and major criticism of the musical direction. Whatever, the controversy is what we like.
