Semi-Permanent Design Conference 2012

10 February 2012 | 3:00 pm | Staff Writer

2012 SEMI-PERMANENT featuring guest speakers from NY photographer DAVID ALAN HARVEY to Sydney’s Creative Advertising Agency THE MONKEYS.

Here’s one for all the artsy types out there – get excited, because the 2012 SEMI-PERMANENT international design conference is almost here. Featuring a cavalcade of guest speakers, ranging from renowned New York photographer DAVID ALAN HARVEY to Sydney’s Creative Advertising Agency THE MONKEYS and many, many others in between.

Don’t be misled by the term ‘design’, either – the conference covers graphic design, illustration, fine art, film, visual effects, photography, web design, stop motion, motion graphics, architecture, interaction design, graffiti, and much more -  with past guests including the likes of BANKSY, BEASTMAN and REG MOMBASSA.

This is not the kind of conference you might have been forced to attend at school or for work. Semi-Permanent brings together thousands of creative minds with some of the most prominent and influential designers at the forefront of the industry, and then lets them mix. If that’s not a recipe for inspiration, I don’t know what is.

There are student discounts, group discounts and VIP tickets available as well as general admission, but get them soon because they’re likely to sell out.
