A Zulu Winter is a curious concept. Some might imagine African tribesmen in scarves and overcoats or bare chested women with frozen nipples.

A Zulu Winter is a curious concept. Some might imagine African tribesmen in scarves and overcoats or bare chested women with frozen nipples. What doesn't spring to mind however is a certain 5-piece indie act from London. ZULU WINTER (the band) have garnered a lot of attention at home and internationally, following the release of their debut single ‘Never Leave’. Riding on the back of that success, ZULU WINTER have followed up with their second single - ‘We Should Be Swimming’ and a slick video clip.

The video is shot at an undisclosed lakeside winter wonderland, reminiscent of Calvin Harris’ ‘I'm not Alone’, minus the twat in the glasses. The clip is worth watching purely for its cinematography - Andrew Bagg has done an exemplary job capturing the frosty landscape, making a most effective and artful use of colour.

Utilizing soft focus, the shot soon transfers to frontman Will Daunt. And what a handsome devil he is! Tall, brooding and statuesque - you can’t help but marvel at that bone structure. He proves to be more than mere eye candy in this clip. Watch and see for yourself.
