Folk-pop prodigy Jonathan Boulet has announced a new album, recorded in his parents' garage, to be released on June 8, 2012.

JONATHAN BOULET has announced the release of his new album We Keep The Beat, Found The Sound, See The Need, Start The Heart on June 8 through Modular People.

Recorded in his parents’ garage, just as his 2010 self-titled debut and Parades’s Foreign Tapes, We Keep the Beat... promises to be a heavy pop record with boundless energy, if lead single ‘Trounce’ is any indication of its direction. With frenzied drums playing primal beats, punctuated by blasts of guitars and cymbals, ‘Trounce’ has more energy than ten thousand suns and puppies in a blender (if you’ll excuse the horrific imagery), and is the perfect soundtrack to tossing kegs in the bonfire at a party (don't try this).
