Live Review: LISTEN: Cant Say Resident - Angus Munday

Local Melbourne DJ ANGUS MUNDAY will be bringing the funk this Friday night at the opening of CAN’T SAY’s new home in Banana Alley in Melbourne’s inner city. ANGUS MUNDAY has been DJing his way around the Melbourne Club scene over the past year, but has found his happy home with the lovely CAN’T SAY crew.

While Mr MUNDAY draws influence from the likes of LOUIS LA ROCHE, DAFT PUNK and the GEISHA TWINS, he also has a deep appreciation for those artists a little closer to home; listing SHAZAM! and D CUP as a few of his homegrown faves.

While the boy has an ear for all things dance, his undying love of disco and funk shines through in most of the mixes he churns out, especially in his newest edition ‘AM Radio #3- Back to the D- Floor.’ The mix, featuring tracks from U-TERN and JEAN TONIQUE has received a heap of positive feedback so far. Working from his humble home studio in the ‘burbs, ANGUS MUNDAY is constantly banging out fresh new tunes, and is currently focusing productions of his own.

Keep an eye on this guy, coz his future is looking mighty fine.
