Entries Open for Cockatoo Island Film Festival

Entries for Australia's biggest competitive film festival are now open, with exposure to Australian and international film professionals.

Attention all filmmakers: entries for Australia's largest film festival, the Cockatoo Island Film Festival, taking place from 24-28 October, are now open. With 48 films spanning five categories and 45,000 attendees, this festival is an opportunity to give your film essential exposure to the Australian and international film industry.

Competitive categories include: Australian Narrative, Australian Documentary, World Narrative, World Documentary, and Short Film, with an award for Young Filmmaker of the Year. There are also non-competitive categories, including 'Credit Card Flicks' for ultra-low-budgets, and 'Midnight Screenings' for edgier films.

Submissions can be made through Withoutabox and the Cockatoo Island Film Festival website.
