Gigamesh, Minneapolis DJ is taking the world's club scene by storm. Dance now, thank us later.

We think that there would be a fair amount of you out there who have no idea what a GIGAMESH is. Well, don’t despair - it’s not some kind of computer hardware or a product made of mesh (we totally looked that up on Wikipedia). It is in fact a super talented producer hailing from Minneapolis in the states - and we have a feeling once you get to know him, you’ll be frothing over him like we currently are.

Born Matt Masurka, Gigamesh is a multi-platinum selling music producer and DJ. Most recognised for his remix work on some of the biggest indie hits in the past 12 months, (including Foster The People, Grouplove and Theophilus London) he is quickly becoming one of the most known names in the indie-dance scene. Not only have these remixes been played across the world in clubs just like our own CAN'T SAY, they have gained the attention of the king of indie-electro labels, Kitsune -  which resulted in them inviting him to perform on several dates of their highly-anticipated 2012 U.S. Club Night tour alongside Crystal Fighters and Housse De Racket.

In October 2011, Gigamesh released his debut self-titled EP on Our Label International, which received widespread acclaim in the electronic community, as it meshed the indie elements that were seen in his remix work with an undeniable disco-influenced synth progression. This influence comes from his hometown, Minneapolis- he was inspired by the disco and '80s electro-boogie movements that swept over the city. These elements and more have all combined to ultimately create an all-inclusive genre approach to his music.

But now it’s 2012 and the relationship Masurka has built with Kitsune has reached a new level, as it was recently announced that Gigamesh’s sophomore EP is to be released through the Parisian label. Once again the EP is packed with disco-infused dance beats, with what seems to be a unique take on progressive electro. Throw in some angelic vocals, groove-driven bass lines and melancholic synths, and you have an extremely club worthy release. Dance now, thank us later.

All My Life is due out May 28.
