Live Review: LISTEN: Dirty Projectors 'Buckle Up'

Woah. DIRTY PROJECTORS are one of those bands that you’re either going to think, “shit, they’re so good…and I can understand why”. Or you’re going to think ‘shit, this is weird, I don’t understand and it confuses me’.

Thankfully for me (and this review for that matter), it’s the former. The band has just released a brand new spanker on their SOUNDCLOUD. Entitled ‘Buckle Up’, it’s 1 minute and 46 seconds of raucous, in-your-face, out-there pop. You could say it’s over before it began, but it still packs one hell of a punch.

Unfortunately for us, it’s only available as a stream, however if you happen to be reading this over in the States, then make sure you follow them on TWITTER as they’re tweeting a special password an hour before each show and you can go pick up a copy of the rather awesome track in 7” form.
