We're looking for a part time Purple Sneakers Event Coordinator to launch and run our new weekly event in Sydney!

PURPLE SNEAKERS is an indie community. We throw parties. We run an awesome news site. And we're looking for a part time Event Coordinator to launch and run our new weekly event in Sydney.

Key duties include:

* Managing the day to day running of the event including booking acts, creating budgets and promoting the events

Plug into the latest music with our FREE weekly newsletter

* Create and manage calendar of events with special events scheduled regularly

* Recruit and manage a team of hosts

* Liaise with venue and venue management

* Manage event on the night including managing door staff, entertainment + giveaways and providing detailed post event analysis.

The right person for the role will go above and beyond. They will be creative, committed and enthusiastic, with an eye for detail. They will love music, understand the brand and bring fresh ideas with buckets of personality. This role will start out as 25 hours per week and is based in Sydney.
