WIN: Alpine 'A Is For Alpine' Tour Double Passes

Melbournites ALPINE are expected to release their new album A is for Alpine on August 10 (currently the Triple J Featured Album of the Week) and now they are heading out on a tour, hopping to a few spots around the country. ALPINE have scheduled SIXTEEN dates, and we here at PURPLE SNEAKERS are giving away one double pass for a show of your choice in each state.

The sound of ALPINE is one lathered in sweet indie harmonies. Much of the album is harbored in the breathy, and air whispers of the duel vocals of Phoebe Baker and Lou James. Their sound is one likened to acts like Phoenix, Lykke Li, The XX and Fleetwood Mac.

Since forming in 2009 the band had built a strong following. Their songs are regulars on Triple J (Currently as the Featured Album more so than ever), and the band have grown strong reputation for the lives sets. All things considered, there live sets will be well attended, and a must for all those enjoying their album as they hear it this week.
