The Recorded Music division of the business is looking to employ a Label & Production Coordinator to be based in Melbourne.

This full time role is an opportunity to become an integral member of the team in one of Australia’s most exciting and innovative music companies.  This role will be responsible for the day-to-day functions of the label – focusing on the production and execution of UNFD’s recorded music assets.

The right candidate will need to hit the ground running, be highly organized and able to closely follow established systems.  They must be passionate about music, committed and have a very keen eye for detail.

Knowledge of the key functions and business relationships of a record label as well as a general knowledge of the music industry is essential.   This is a full time role based in our Melbourne office.

Key responsibilities include:

• Liaise with distributor in Australia & New Zealand to ensure all assets, requests for sales and music titles are in production by deadlines

• Ensure all UNFD titles are submitted to appropriate third parties including but not limited to PPCA, ARIA, APRA and others

• Work with A&R/Marketing manager to create release schedules

• Create or deliver all parts to production including ISRC, label copy and other release information as well as complete Master document for all releases

• Ensure UNFD titles are released internationally via the companies digital distribution deals

• Work with Management to ensure complete registration of all published artists titles with publisher

• Be the point of contact for all artist requests from publisher

• Maintain UNFD website and social media assets

• Manage stock inventory to ensure sufficient copies of all label releases

• Responsible for the delivery of tracks to community and regional commercial radio nation wide

• Mail out coordination
