Live Review: WATCH: The Rubens ‘Lay It Down’ (Official Video)

An Australian A-list actress, four soaking wet musicians and one sexy song. Australian actress ABBIE CORNISH, who’s worked with the likes of HEATH LEDGER, SAM WORTHINGTON and CATE BLANCHETT, can now add THE RUBENS to her curriculum vitae.

The most intriguing part of this stormy video is that there is not an electrocution in sight. Scenes of a drum kit pounded amid choppy waters, and of Sam Margin and CORNISH playing a magnetic game of push and pull in the deep, dark depths of the ocean are sensual and dramatic.

We did have to wait over 12 months for a video for their debut Unearthed smash, but my gosh was it worth it. The song is still as spine-tingly-good as ever, and the video is HOT.
