As we wait in anticipation for the new MOUNT KIMBIE album, we've been blessed with a peep through the first single 'Made To Stray'. Reflecting the album artwork of Cold Spring Fault Less Youth, the same artist - Leif Podhajsky - has created trip city with the psychedelic film clip to the said song.

Think of it like your Windows 2000 desktop screen saver, but a billion times better. Instead of watching the shapes disappear, you get swallowed into the paints and textures of the album's cover art; which is kind of symbolic as this basically leads us beyond the surface and inside the face of the album.

It acts like that flamboyant new friend who is excited to take you to new places and show you the world. At times we're driving along a highway framed by rows of trees, other times we're looking through the stained glass windows of a tall cathedral. But hey, every imagination will perceive the visuals embedded in this clip differently.

Quite an exhilarating rush, we end up taking a breather from the intensive visual and sonic journey at the close of 'Made To Stray', as we're pushed outside of this dimension by a pulsating symmetrical shape, reflecting a pair of lungs inhaling and exhaling fervently.

Sitting in the middle of the new album's tracklist, 'Made To Stray' can be downloaded for free from Mount Kimbie's site HERE.

Cold Spring Fault Less Youth will be available via Warp Records on May 27th.
