So…  after this announcement we can truly call the dear ‘ol City of Churches (aka Adelaide) its deserving name of 'RADelaide' and we have the dudes at Fourwords to thank. If you are a regular South Australian partygoer then you should be familiar with Fourwords and if you aren’t, you need to reconsider where you spend your nights.

Usually based at the Rhino Room in Adelaide's CBD, it was only a matter of time before these boys would branch out and host their very own festival. The one off event will be held at the new venue Published Arthouse, a disused warehouse located right in the core of the city and features a flood of local, interstate and international electronic acts.

Headlining Knots are Sydney trio Seekae who have finally ventured back to Australia for the first time in 2013 after spending time in the UK writing and recording their highly anticipated new album. Their combination of drum machines and real drum kits, various synthesisers, guitars and Apple Macs gel together rather magnificently and makes it clear that these boys are a bunch of incredibly skillful musicians who are clearly the masters of their machines.

A big name that’ll be touching down in Aus is Canadian beatmaker, Kaytranada who took up the craft of production at the age of 14. His beats vary from instrumental hip-hop, neo soul and elements of trap all in the same audio mixing bowl. Kaytranada has garnered millions of plays through YouTube and SoundCloud and will be sure to get your bodies dancing and your minds activated.

Another young Canadian beat maker to add to the hype is Ryan Hemsworth. In 2011, his first release ‘No Plans’ was featured on SPIN magazine’s top 20 R&B albums. Sitting alongside the likes of Shlohmo, RL Grimes, Baauer, LOL Boys and XXYYXX, Hemsworth creates a sensual environment that ranges between thugged-out bangers and heartwarming rollers.

And if that’s not enough for you, the lineup also features an impressive list of local and interstate acts including Oliver Tank, Fishing, Polographia, Collarbones, Cosmo’s Midnight, Oisima, Brokers, How Green and the debut live show of Lonah (an exciting new collaboration between Oisima and True North).

I know right!? Dropping these names have resulted in the first release selling out in a day but lucky for the lazy ones who missed out you can still jump on board the second release which goes on sale from the 14th of August. No need to get your funds sorted as the price is at a reasonable $45. Shut up and take our money!
