In need of a mid-week pick me up? Look no further than this massive new tune coming from rising Canadian producer, CYRIL HAHN.

'Raw Cut' will be featured as the B-Side to his breakthrough single on PMR Records, 'Perfect Form'. But is definitely not any worse that the track it'll be accompanying.

Whilst 'Perfect Form' was a very light and airy dance track, Hahn takes this newbie down a brand new road. One that is equally as dark as it is intense. 'Raw Cut' begins within a world of underground house beats and moody synths, it's a basic entrance into the soundscape, and the track builds up very slowly and quietly in the background - whilst you're too busy being entranced by the pulsing bass and tribal percussion samples.

Suddenly it hits you, a distorted guitar line, mirroring the sounds of funk laden 80's dance tunes, one that is surrounded in the atmospheric synths the producer is known for - and matches the perfectly driving beat at the forefront of the track. Slowly but surely more and more intricate samples can be heard and the layers upon layers of synths become more prevalent. The vocals confirm the tribal rhythms that could be heard early on, and the it's all gone. The 4 minutes 50 has literally just flown by.

PMR is also the label that broke Disclosure into the world, so it's no surprise that they also picked up Cyril Hahn for his debut release. The guy clearly not only has immeasurable talent, but he also encompasses something unique within the Electronic scene. There are elements of House, Techno, Beats, Atmospheric Pop and more - and it's clear there is a bright future ahead of this guy if he keeps churning out these kinds of tunes.

Cyril Hahn's debut EP is due out October 7 via PMR Records.
