We always get a little teary eyed when we hear our good friends, and in this case CANT SAY residents, are making a name for themselves overseas. Today, it's because we have the first taste of SWICK & LEWIS CANCUT's colab EP release!

Now we've put it down as a 'Watch' article, as well as sticking 'Official Video' at the end of the title too. Because according to Potato (Skrillex, A-Trak, Diplo's YouTube Music channel), where the video was given it's world wide premiere - that's exactly what they've gone with. But our point is, this isn't so much of a music video for lead single 'Hi Score' as it is a promo video for their split EP overall.

Why we say this, is because half way through the Sage Caswell directed clip, 'Hi Score' suddenly transforms into 'Music For Birds' - the releases B-Side. But whatever, either way you see it, positively or negatively - you get to hear both tracks from the upcoming EP and the accompanying visuals are pretty cool too. And we dig that, a lot.

The split is being released by Main Course Media, a label that prides itself on being 100% free, whilst supporting the artists that share their music with the label. All their releases are simply two tracks and they're not about carving a niche, or building a distinct sound, they simply believe in getting good music heard, regardless of genre.

Now back to the tunes, 'Hi Score' is a tropical flavoured bowl quirky club tune, with an undeniable jack that leaves one with no choice but to bounce. The flip side, ‘Music for Birds’ sounds like it came straight out of a video game, combining buoyant beats with bubbling basslines.

Throw in some saturated footage of birds, video games and other random tid-bits - and you've got yourself a good looking accompanying video.

On the back of his release on Mad Decent, Swick is showing his diversity with a more mainstream friendly club release, all whilst keeping his unique trademarks in there! Whilst Cancut is truly showing that he is one to watch in the club world, so keep an eye on him in the near future.

Hi Score/Music For Birds is out now via Main Course Media.
