FBi Turns 10 is a party being held on Sunday September 8 at Carriageworks in Sydney. Its purpose is to celebrate the 10th anniversary of FBi Radio.

The definition of the line up is purely “all killer, no filler” and features some of the most talented acts Australia has to offer, covering a wide range of genres including rock, hip hop and electronic across four stages. Here are our top five must see artists for this exciting event:

HERMITUDE

What to expect: An incredibly fun show, armed with combined elements of hip hop and electronic music, as well as a dash of turntablism. Over the past year or so Hermitude have been the ultimate festival act and were a highlight to many people at last month's Splendour In The Grass.

Similar artists: Flume, TZU

Key tracks: HyperParadise, Speak Of The Devil, Get In My Life

SEEKAE

What to expect: A talented electronic three piece who certainly know how to layer their sounds to perfection. With vocals introduced into their new material, their impressive live show is more varied than ever. Seekae's performance for Vivid LIVE at Sydney Opera House last year was brilliant and this occasion won't be any different.

Similar artists: James Blake, PVT, Mount Kimbie

Key tracks: Gnor, Blood Bank, Yech

DECODER RING

What to expect: After quite a large hiatus, it's hard to know what to predict from this band. One thing is for sure, there will be plenty of anticipation for their performance at FBi turns 10. Let's hope this is a sign they're ready to return permanently.

Similar artists: Mogwai, Explosions In The Sky

Key tracks: Beat The Twilight, Welcome Shoppers, Somersault

THE LAURELS

What to expect: Known for their explosive performances, The Laurels have been on support duties for many high profile acts over the past 12 months or so including Hoodoo Gurus, Lee Ranaldo (Sonic Youth), Band Of Skulls and The Black Angels. If you admire sensational guitar riffs, do not miss this band.

Similar artists: Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Pond

Key tracks: Tidal Wave, Black Cathedral, Changing The Timeline

WORLD'S END PRESS

What to expect: Funky bass lines, heavy synthesisers and superb dance moves all make up a typical live set for World's End Press. They will be playing tracks off their debut album, which is due out a bit later this year.

Similar artists: Friendly Fires, !!! (Chk, chk, chk), City Calm Down

Key tracks: Second Day Uptown, To Send Our Love, Deadbeat Sweetheart

Our honorable mentions include:

MOVEMENT

What to expect: Reports of their recent show supporting Klaxons in Sydney suggest that Movement have a big future ahead of them. Deep Sampha like vocals blended with atmospheric electronic sounds ensure a performance which most people will enjoy thoroughly.

Similar artists: SBTRKT, The xx, Jacques Greene

Key tracks: Feel Real + new yet to be released tracks

NAUGHTY RAPPERS COLLECTIVE

What to expect: Providing a mixture of a stand up comedy and a rap gig, the entertaining Naughty Rappers Collective are one of the few acts who have the ability to make you laugh and dance at the same time. This hilarious group is made up of the one and only SPOD and members of Fishing and Richard In Your Mind. SPOD will provide complimentary tissues on the day!
