Melbourne group THE ANCIENTS release new single HEY NOW and detail album tour.
Melbourne based psych-pop rock outfit THE ANCIENTS are launching their 3rd album 'Night Bus' in the coming months around the country, and just today the group have released their latest single, 'HEY NOW'.
Since their formation in the late 2000's, the band have steadily been releasing a stream of music and touring around the country. Channeling sounds of psychedelically-tinged fuzz pop, the single 'HEY NOW' is a dreamy yet driven track, powered by strong rhythm layered with sweetly distorted guitars and smooth vocals manipulated with rippling delay and reverb effects, an almost Deerhunter approach to composition, whilst still staying firmly rooted in its own matured sound.
