Gesaffelstein ‘Hate Or Glory’ (Official Video)
French DJ/producer GESAFFELSTEIN has just released the clip to his track ‘Hate Or Glory’. The clip was shot in Los Angeles, and has been made to follow a rather serious storyline.
Directed by Fleur & Manu, ‘Hate Or Glory’ opens in the style of a film, introducing us to the characters and lifestyle that we can expect for the entirety of the clip. After the riches have been stolen from an older mentor, we follow a group of thugs who emit a serious sense of perpetual hunger in all their endeavours, leading them into a world of selfishness and crime.
Relating to the thrill of the syncopated tracks harsh breaths and combination of beats both wet & dry, we as an audience gain the feeling that we’re constantly walking on eggshells just by viewing the clip. This feeling of ours is validated by the end of ‘Hate Or Glory’, as after dousing himself in liquid gold, things don’t end up so well for the main young villain; consequential to his greed and thieved power.
‘Hate Or Glory’ is to feature on Gesaffelstein‘s forthcoming record Aleph that is set for release on the 28th October through Bromance US and Parlophone Music France. Aleph can be pre-ordered via iTUNES now.
