Sydney duo Alba have remixed Elizabeth Rose's hit track 'The Good Life' and it;s as fantastic as you've been led to believe.
The lovely ELIZABETH ROSE is kicking off her latest Australia tour this week after recently flying to New York for the first time to perform at the CMJ Music Marathon. She will venture out to every capital city with Future Classic signing CHARLES MURDOCH at her side, being the wonderful opening act for each show.
To celebrate the tour, ELIZABETH ROSE has released a new remix of her hit track 'The Good Life' which has become the most played single on Triple J. It has been remixed by Sydney-based electronic duo ALBA, who you may instead remember as ALBATROSS.
ALBA have added in a few chopped synths and pulled out a fair bit of the main vocal track to produce a killer dance track that is pretty infectious. The new version of 'The Good Life' has a bit of a garage-ish feel to it that really just puts it into a brand new category. The distorted vocals give the track a bit of variety whilst each synth is sliding into place with ease.
