Live Review: A Very Sweaty Xmas Mix Series Episode 1: Go Freek

Sydney-siders GO FREEK have brightened up our arvo today with the surprise of a brand new mixtape, the first edition in a series of mixes that will be hitting the internet in anticipation for the SWEAT IT OUT! Xmas party event @ The Metro Theatre. What time is it? Time to get sweaty.

Containing a solid 40 minute burst of high octane house music, the GO FREEK boys are giving us a taste of what is to come at the SWEAT IT OUT! Xmas party this coming month, and boy is it massive.

Keeping the tracklist tightly on lockdown, the duo are testing out our 'trainspotting' skills with this eclectic mix, but you can be sure to hear plenty of original music from SWEAT IT OUT! throughout this mixtape, including a remix of RUFUS' 'Tonight', and the latest white-hot bootleg house edit of SAGE THE GEMINI's 'Gas Pedal' by the freshly signed MOTEZ.

Featuring top acts such as WHAT SO NOT, RUFUS DJs, YOLANDA BE COOL, MOTEZ, INDIAN SUMMER, FRAMES and a bunch of other local legends, the cutting-edge Aussie dance label SWEAT IT OUT! will be throwing the Christmas party to end all Christmas parties on Dec 21st @ The Metro Theatre, Sydney.

All profits from the party are going to the St. Vincent De Paul Society, in loving memory of the late, great AJAX, label founder and pillar of the Australian music scene.
