Live Review: LISTEN: Moon Boots 'C.Y.S'

Not of this world, currently residing somewhere in the USA is an entity surrounded in enigmatic mystery. Although, if you asked anybody the question 'Where did MOON BOOTS come from?' 9 out of 10 times you'd get the same answer based off his sound: From the same funky futuristic alien planet as Bootsy Collins.

Represented by the prestigous FRENCH EXPRESS (also home to the likes of PERSEUS and CHRIS MALINCHAK), MOON BOOTS brings us his latest single, cryptically entitled 'C.Y.S'.

A solid hunk of retro-futuristic nu-disco house, MOON BOOTS introduces his track with the quote 'This one goes out to all the boots out there looking for a set of boots to kick it with.' I concur, MOON BOOTS, I concur.

Saucily covered with 80's chic synth-keys and pads, bouncing bass stabs, super tight drums sounds, complete with a soulful R&B vocal, 'C.Y.S' screams nostalgic tones of Miami sunsets, and tropical settings.
