Live Review: LISTEN: Pat Lok ft. Alo 'Move Slow'

Vancouver producer PAT LOK is a name we're waiting to see grow, due to his impressive originals and remixes he's leant us over the past few years. He's just dropped his new single 'Move Slow', featuring the vocals of fellow Canadian [Kaeyae] ALO.

Strutting in with a gentle hum, thick production and a grooving beat, 'Move Slow' wastes no time in introducing itself as a smooth yet flirty number. After the resounding vocals of guest singer Alo exhales, the entire theme of the track intensifies, thanks to the marriage between the chosen lyricism and vocal warmth explored.

With this, neighbouring idiosyncratic vocal tweaks and lively synth samples pair up and trade places with their musical siblings, adding to the mischievous character of 'Move Slow'.
