Live Review: WATCH: Death Grips 'No Love' (Official Video)

One thing's for sure: DEATH GRIPS sure do know how to keep the industry media on their toes. A full year and a bit after their seminal release 'NO LOVE DEEP WEB', in signature fashion the boys have released an official video clip for their track 'No Love' from the 2012 album.

'On the first day I gave a fuck,' rolls across the screen like the video for 'No Love' is some kind of subverted karaoke clip tossed to the cutting room floor. Red and cyan hues pushed apart from one another for the entirety of the clip, as if we are supposed to view with 3D glasses from the 90s. Amongst all this, if only one thing is clear at all within this video it's this: DEATH GRIPS certainly have their style down pat.

Much like the track itself, the video finds unity in being messy, for lack of a better word. Raw and untrimmed, the video for 'No Love' is a slab of footage of the boys performing the track in a dank rehearsal space, with minimal editing. Each band member exists in their own headspace, powering away at their instruments.

The drummer, ZACH HILL, slaps at the drums with his bare hands before immediately cutting to footage of him walking around the drum kit, then hammering it with sticks.

MC RIDE does a handstand too, that's pretty cool.
