Download the debut 'IVRY' EP from Cali-based G-funk rapper 100s via FOOL'S GOLD records.

From the west coasts of Cali, the G-funk revivalist and owner of a slick killer perm known simply as 100s has just dropped his debut EP on the legendary label FOOL'S GOLD.

Across a total of 8 rock solid tracks, 100s makes his arrival in pimped-out, silken-ivory style. From the retro-futuristic G-funk beats, full of slapping and popping bass licks, dripping synths and vocoders, to the laid back ice cold personality of 100s' lyrical style, it really feels like the 'IVRY' EP was fast tracked straight from the mid-90s - and we love it.

With an incredibly versatile vocal style, 100s contains flashes of ANDRE 3000 in fast spit, staccato rhythms, whilst within chorus sections you can feel the hazily reclined swang of SNOOP DOGG, back when he had 'Doggy Dogg' on the end of his name.

It's all this at once, but always feels original and organic. This is 100s own style and there is so much space for this particular blend of hip hop at this moment in time that this Berkeley-based rapper is completely owning the whole scene.

And what's even better, the good folks at FOOL'S GOLD records have thrown the 'IVRY' EP up for free download via 100s soundcloud page. Neo-G-funk never sounded so good.
