Live Review: LISTEN: Raleigh Ritchie 'Stronger Than Ever' (Daktyl Remix)

DAKTYL has already proven to many of the music lovers that scour SoundCloud that he knows what it takes to be a game-changing producer.

Because this young gun has already released a series of remixes that have all proved to be extremely popular, DAKTYL shows no signs of slowing down with yet another offering emerging from his long catalogue of projects.

The new release sees DAKTYL remix fellow UK musician RAHLEIGH RITCHIE's track 'Stronger Than Ever' and although both artists are definitely set for big things, both have distinct sounds of their own. RITCHIE has a generally very elegant take on pop and with an obvious R &B skew, the songwriter has a very grand original mix for 'Stronger Than Ever'.

The melody here is created by a vast orchestra who never miss a beat and sound as equally dramatic and soulful as RITCHIE's vocals. 'Stranger Than Ever' is probably one of the best representations of RAHLEIGH RITCHIE's talent and now that DAKTYL has injected his own atmospheric, electronic flavour into 'Stronger Than Ever', we see the two artists' best qualities combine.

With cool percussion bringing in the remix, we already see the unique melodies of DAKTYL emerge and we are immersed in a smooth remix full of steady beats and synths that chop and change creating layers within the remix. At first you think DAKTYL's remix is going to be quite tame and reserved however, you soon realise, after the first set of vocals, that you're in for something else as the synths all suddenly burst and work together to create a massive climax.

With digital synths sprinkling across the track, plus an array of beams and tweaks, DAKTYL creates a track you can most definitely get lost in.
