Indie-Electro act Rufus releases official video for their track, 'Sundream', taken from 2013 album Atlas.

Sydney indie-electro outfit RUFUS have released an official music clip for their single, ‘Sundream’. Currently on tour in the US and UK, the boys will be returning for a run of Australian shows in May through to June, prior to setting off once more overseas to start on album number two.

Taken from their widely successful 2013 debut album, Atlas, the clip for ‘Sundream’ perfectly embodies the effortlessly cool, 'shrug of the shoulders' type of brilliant nonchalance that their body of work has come to represent.

The video begins with a golden haired woman, gazing off in to the horizon, in what could only be a literal throwback to the song’s title. Of course, merely seeing the back of this luminous creature won’t do, as she reclines back and seductively gazes at the camera, cueing the start of the track.

With that we’re shifted to underwater footage, of abstract shapes and mirrored images much like that of a kaleidoscope. Looming clouds and water ripples takes centre stage, with the footage timed to cut-away with each twinkling key struck.

Soon, the abstract shapes start sporting swaying dudes and babes, a never-ending geometric dream that multiplies and expands, one that won’t quit till you’ve given in to vocalist Tyrone Lindqvist’s hypnotic ‘I want to feel that you want it’.  Whatever it is, it’s certain to leave one in a dreamy daze.
