Live Review: LISTEN: Chromeo 'Jealous' (DJ Hoodboi Remix)

The duo known for sharp suits and synths, CHROMEO are back and bolder than ever with a funk-filled doughnut of a remix from DJ HOODBOI that spills out sugary goop with your first bite of the opening bars.

Surprising guitar/ bass lines creep throughout the remix, creating a richer sound. The crashing of the wailing guitar signifies the drop as rising synth peppers the tune into an ultimate remix of the original. The mashing of genres compliment one another as lead singer David Macklovish croons with his smooth baritone voice.

There is no denying the catchy nature of this tune, and with the flawless production from DJ HOODBOI, 'Jealous' will have you tapping your feet, shimmying your shoulders, and singing the lyrics well into the next day. It could even leave you 'Jealous' that you didn't come up with this crazed anarchy of a remix in the first place.
