Live Review: Say Lou Lou 'Peppermint' (Official Video)
The Say Lou Lou girls have released their b-side to their new EP Everything We Touch as a simple video of studio life.
With the SAY LOU LOU releasing their single 'Everything We Touch' not long ago, you're probably still have it hovering around your head.
If you don't have the song itself glued in there then you'll probably have the bright lights that featured in the tracks music video, because something that colourful would definitely take it's time leaving your memory. 'Everything We Touch' will be featured on the forthcoming EP of the same name, and it will be accompanied by a beautiful b-side the girls have just released called 'Peppermint'.
'Peppermint' is quite a sombre track with a deep vocal track that broods alongside the ethereal melody that the girls have become known for. SAY LOU LOU have been slowly creeping up on the scene for a while now and with every new piece they seem to just raise the bar higher and higher and 'Peppermint' just seems to raise it even higher again.

'Peppermint' has a blissful stream of strings flying through it with a soft piano track following each vocal. It's a very intricate track that does seem to fall into place with ease and every element has the same velvety smooth sound. The video that has been released to accompany the track is something far less magnificent than 'Everything We Touch'. instead of huge lights and glitter galore, we are simply shown SAY LOU LOU in the recording studio, somewhere where they seem to feel right at home.
The Everything We Touch EP can be pre-ordered from iTunes and 7" vinyl now now and will be released June 2.
