Live Review: The Presets 'No Fun' (Lancelot Remix)
The Presets have made Lancelot's remix of their track 'No Fun' available as a free download.
THE PRESETS have done something wonderful and presented us with a free download with the help of Sydney producer LANCELOT.
The artists have come together and decided to put LANCELOT's remix of THE PRESETS' track 'No Fun' up on Soundcloud with a download link so we can listen to it's wonderful melody on repeat.
THE PRESETS released 'No Fun' not long ago through Modular People and have announced a remix package for the track which includes a series of reworks from a variety of producers and acts including RUFUS/ RUFUS DU SOL. The remix package will be released in August and since that date is still some time away, the duo have released LANCELOT's remix prematurely.

To say LANCELOT's remix is fantastic would be an understatement. Chic-inspired guitar riffs, winding synths and heavily reverbed vocals have all come together to transform 'No Fun' into a dance floor hit that is instantly infectious.
There is a groove, that hovers below the initial melody, which acts like the heart of the track, driving it and giving it an electronic life source. Every element seems to branch out from that groove to add in another aspect of the piece. We have a deep beat that makes the track danceable, humming synths that produce a warm atmosphere and echoing vocals that give 'No Fun' a life of it's own.
LANCELOT's remix will be a standout amongst the other remixes on the No Fun Remix Package, however each rework will have it's own atmosphere and add in different house aspects. THE PRESETS No Fun Remix Package will be released on August 1 in Australia through Modular People.
