Sydney based producer Alex Ward AKA MOON HOLIDAY has a knack for conveying the potential sublimity that music can hold. By producing tracks that eventuate into a soundscape so wondrous and tranquil, she’s essentially mastered a form of music that’s hard to come across.

Her latest track is ‘Rid U’. Taken from her forthcoming EP titled ‘Second Life’, this taste of the EP will leave you wanting the EP in its entirety.

Her latest track ‘Rid U’ gives off a still and honest vibe, one that shines particularly through her vocals and the use of textures. A wind-esque sweep nurtures the sound of the xylophone-esque synth, which eventuates into this huge soundscape that could fill an entire canvas.

About mid way, the texture is scaled back to a minimum, and that’s when the heavy synths are introduced, as well as multiple background sustained synths.

Such a beautiful track, MOON HOLIDAY has created something not only to be listened to, but something to fall in love with. Definitely keep an ear out for the new EP, it’s going to be nothing short of innovative, stunning and honest.
