British band NEW BUILD have released an ethereal new track called 'The Sunlight' for your listening pleasure. Featuring members from the ultimate steel drum aficionados HOT CHIP, this collaboration is one to watch and one to lose yourself to in sound.

Core members Felix Martin and Al Doyle have been asking everyone if they are 'Ready For The Floor' since 2001 as part of HOT CHIP and have only recently joined forces with electronic producer Tom Hopkins to form NEW BUILD. This new trio have taken on breathy electronica as their aesthetic and they are doing it damn well.

'The Sunlight' features seething synth work and foggy vocals that just seem to make you feel good. Galactic sounds slowly ascend and the track unfolds into a flowing pastiche of journey styled atmospheric house. A punching beat trickles in and combined with fleeting prickly synth, 'The Sunlight' is determined to make you drift away on a glittering cloud of electronica.

Darker synth makes a strong appearance closer to the end of the track, truly displaying how NEW BUILD can combine several forms of electronic sounds to represent not only themselves, but the general feeling of the London Dance scene at the moment.

A combination of searing synth and NEW ORDER influences make 'The Sunlight' a must listen, especially if you are dreaming of the European summer and waking up somewhere near the border with only the shoes left on your tired dancing feet.
