A brand new music video for a brand new day, we're happy to share with you all the latest clip from NEW BUILD for their track 'The Sunlight'.

You may not have heard of NEW BUILD before, but you will most definitely have heard of the bands some of the members stemmed from; with Al Doyle previously in HOT CHIP and LCD SOUNDSYSTEM and Felix Martin also from HOT CHIP.

NEW BUILD have a unique sound that is almost mystical. On 'The Sunlight' we hear soft melodies being produced with beaming synths and trickling samples that create a sense of calm. The name is very fitting for the track as it resembles a sunrise as the song slowly builds itself into it's crescendo; the beat slowly gets harder, the synths fill themselves and sound more solid whilst the vocals soar above the melody like a cloud. If this all sounds good, you should definitely check out the music video.

Just as the song does, the video begins quite dark and slowly builds itself into a brighter visual spectacular of glowing lights floating across the screen. Although the the song sounds quite warm, the music video plays around with light and shade as lights fade in and out throughout the video. Backing lights cast silhouettes and again slowly becomes brighter as the track pushes on. As the song reaches it's climax the video bursts into saturated light and colour that creates wonderful rainbows across NEW BUILD. 'The Sunlight' has a very artistic music clip to accompany it that really holds the same structural values whilst also exploring some similar aspects in a visual medium.

NEW BUILD are about to release their second album Pour It On through Sunday Best Recordings / Liberator Music. The album will be available on October 20 and hopefully we'll be seeing more fantastic music videos in the near future.
