Live Review: TOKiMONSTA ft. Anderson Paak 'Realla' (Official Video)
LA producer TOKiMONSTA has added sensuous visuals to song for 'Realla', a successful collaboration with fellow LA producer Anderson Paak.
I have this image in my head; that whenever TOKiMONSTA plays, the world stops, awaken and listens. It could be in part be of her stunning looks, her five colours in her hair, or even the way she wears her caps.
But the tantalising music that she has been churning up is the shy and quiet kid who knows the answer when the math teacher asks for it but never raises up her hands. TOKiMONSTA's music doesn't scream for recognition but there is an alluring, almost magnetic draw about it.
Her latest track 'Realla' off her debut album Desidirium sees her working with fellow LA producer turned vocalist Anderson Paak, Anderson's dulcet and soothing vocals are layered and added into the ambience mix, providing a silvery knife to the atmospheric body that TOKiMONSTA has created with a melodious reverberation of some subtle and graceful synth parts.

Their previous music video for 'Darkest (Dim)' had a $4000 budget from a kickstarter campaign, this time round they were fortunate in creating a sensual video for 'Realla' without monetary limitations. In the smoke-filled start to the music video, TOKiMONSTA and Anderson Paak revolve with their backs to each other with cuts to a couple embracing and necking each other in slow-motion, creating sensuous and amorous imagery.
