Live Review: Pilerats Guest Mix for Purple Sneakers on FBi Click

They're the dudes who've brought the world such shining gems as DEER, WILLOW BEATS, SBMRGE and, oh I dunno, a little fellow by the name of SABLE. I am of course talking about the PILERATS crew, who have jumped onto our guest mix this week for FBI CLICK.

Since beginning their journey only a few short years ago, the PILERATS boiz have certainly become a force to be reckoned with. Their trend-setting, online magazine has been at the forefront of pop culture and a destination for all things rad since its inception.

Straight outta Perth, the PILERATS mission statement sums up their mantra to a tee: "Equal parts destruction & creation, PILERATS have long held the torch on Australia's West Coast as the bonafide last word in good-times & party-times." Couldn't of said it better myself.

Being likeminded party animals ourselves, it was only a matter of time before we linked up with our PILERATS pals to enlist them for some tasty, tasty tunes in the form of a guest mix for PURPLE SNEAKERS ON FBI CLICK.

The PILERATS DJs jumped at the oppurtunity and loaded up some of their fave tracks of the moment into a stomper of a mix. Being the geniuses behind their very own record label, the guys had no shortage of tunes to pick from. Their last label compilation, 'Rat Pack #1' featured the likes of international producers ESTA, TRIPPY TURTLE, and RYAN HEMSWORTH (who features in the mix), as well a whole host of Aussies.

With their second official compilation effort, which will be the successor to 'Rat Pack #1' is nearing it's completion, PILERATS are certainly showing no signs of slowing down, and we love it. Their latest compilation will be hitting the internet soon, so keep your eyes peeled for that one.
