Heaps Gay Party ft. Purple Sneakers DJs

The Heaps Gay parties began a little while ago to fundraise for ACON, a community based charity that specialises in HIV and the health of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) people.

Since 1985, the organisation has strived to make life better for those suffering under the guise of the HIV epidemic and other medical concerns among these communities. ACON is all about positive advocacy for surrounding issues related to HIV and LGBTI health.

Heaps Gay parties are a monthly occurrence at Chippendale’s Gladstone Hotel. These parties are all inclusive, so expect a mixed crowd of people all joining forces to support this great organisation. Previously, the events have had the likes of KATO, DJ LUEN and more play their music.

This month’s event will feature a DJ set from us here at Purple Sneakers + Heaps Gay DJs and Dandy DJs. It’ll be on Saturday the 18th of October, and will be a banger of a night, so head on down if you’ve got the opportunity.

A fantastic initiative by a fantastic group of people; Heaps Gay is a platform for equality, and is a stepping stone in the right direction for all aspects of the music community.
