Yeo Announces 'Come Find Me' EP + National Tour

14 October 2014 | 7:54 pm | Darren Ng

Melbourne artist Yeo releases genre-mashing 'Come Find Me' EP along with two dates in Melbourne and Sydney.

Melbourne's YEO doesn't believe in being bound to genres; on his Facebook page under the genre column, he marks it with "like it matters anymore", but sees himself being fitted into many sub headers like indie, electronic, pop, rock and even R & B.

After having featured both tracks and videos for 'Kobe' and 'Girl,' on Purple Sneakers, his much anticipated album 'Come Find Me' is finally released, featuring five tracks, which includes new tracks ’Move It or Lose It', 'Always Open' and a Chief's remix of 'Kobe'.

'Always Open' sees Yeo hopping from behind the black and whites to the slight skips and strums off a slightly distorted guitar, the chorus progresses into an overwhelming wave of heartfelt keyboard parts, straightening the backbone of a dark track that twinkles in the night sky. While Yeo's frustrated vocals of heartbreak howls like a ray of light, the backing vocals pulls the rug from under you, leaving you unbalanced after being on an emotional roller coaster.
