Cats @ Rocket Bar ft. Citizen Kay, Brave + More

It seems every week Adelaide’s favourite Friday night party, Cats somehow manages to outdo themselves from the Friday before. Last week we saw visual mastermind EGO do his thing on the decks, while things got weird on the dance floor as the crowd boogied along in some questionable, yet equally as awesome costumes.

All we can say is, what a wicked Halloween that was, making it all the more difficult for this week's party to back it up.

This being said, things are already looking promising with a killer line-up scheduled, including hip-hop boss CITIZEN KAY. After releasing his debut single 'Yes' in 2013, the Ghana-born artist has been tearing it up in the hip-hop music scene, releasing hit after hit, including 'Raise A Glass' and more recently 'Manage'. It wasn't all that long ago that he was wowing fans in Adelaide's new underground venue Pirie and Co. Social Club on his first national headline tour earlier this year, which saw TKAY MAIDZA on supporting duty. This Friday he's back at our favourite Rocket Bar on his 'Demokracy' tour, proving that there really is no rest for the wicked.

Joining CITIZEN KAY on Friday night will be neo-soul producer/singer/songwriter BRAVE. Amongst the midst of his own bedroom turned studio, this Sydney-based artist has been creating his own material since he was 15 years old. His soulful vocals and driving beat makes for a great listen. Check out his hit track 'What About Me?' below.

Also gracing the stage will be indie bands ELECTRIC EXILES and LOST WOODS, along with all the usual resident DJs to keep the party going.

Safe to say Adelaide is in for a good night!
